Erin and Alyson were born and raised on the prairies of southwest Saskatchewan in a small farming community, Skull Creek. Why Crocus? These wildflowers were among the first to bloom every spring, popping up in the pastures behind our home, and they were our grandma's favourite. The name represents a warm feeling of home, but also the fresh start of something new.
There is an unspoken understanding and connection between those who grew up in a farming community. It is a lifestyle that is rooted in tradition, hard work, and relentless support for one another. Crocus was born out of an intention to extend that helping hand in the online space, with a vision to support those who put everything they have into their livelihood and continue to move them forward, adapt, and evolve.
